My husband didn't ask me to marry him until 4 years went by. I asked him what took him so long. Apparently he had the ring much sooner, but he was waiting for the perfect opportunity to present itself. He didn't want the situation to seem forced.

He might be waiting for the perfect time. Do you both live together? Maybe he is waiting until he can afford a home and a ring to support you.

Maybe he's not ready yet.. Give it time.. He is comfortable now and is afraid of the next step.. If you truely love him give it time, you want him to be ready right.?
