It's a fun way to pass the time. Who knows it might work.
Personally I would just go to church and drink the free wine they give you.

Okay, you couldn't be that dense right? I know for a fact the person who told you that meant for you to pray. Get on your kneed, close your eyes and talk with God. Sometimes you don't even have to be on your knees, you can just be by yourself, talking to God quietly. And no, praying alone will not get you into Heaven. The Bible says you must be " Born Again". If you have a Bible read St John, chapter 3 verses 1 through 21.

Hello. It is your choice whether you want to talk to God or not. Or pray or not. I only prayed to God when I was in trouble for the first 33 years of my life. I find it hard to pray now sometimes but my faith cannot be shaken because it was a gift from God. He does answer all acceptable prayers-not the ones for material things I don't think. He does tend to work through people but He has intervened directly in my case a number of times when my life was in danger. He wants to have a relationship with all of us but He doesn't force it on us. I am not trying to convert you by telling you all this because I don't have that power-it would be arrogant of me to try anyway. Having a faith in God makes it much easier to accept anything that happens to you because it must be His will. Takes a lot of stress out of life. I hope you have a great Christmas.

The thief on the cross next to Jesus couldn't exactly get down on HIS knees, could he? But he expressed faith (belief) in who Jesus is, and showed humility. So Jesus, who reads our hearts, saw his repentance was genuine, and assured him he'd be with him in paradise.
In the Old Testament, a King with leprosy was told by God's prophet to dip seven times in the mucky Jordan waters. He took offence at this instruction. Well, he was a KING, wasn't he! But a sensible person took him to one side, whispering in his ear that if he'd been told to do something difficult, he would have done it. So just because it was simple, why should he not do that? The King swallowed his pride, got dunked seven times, and all the leprosy vanished. Got the idea...?

Oh!! Don't get the idea wrong!^^ Darling, you need a Protestant Christian to tell you what to do..... You accept Jesus as your personal Saviour and freind! Quit the religous practices and rituals first. Understand God and how to go to Heaven, then go the others. Not all kneeling means ahem, sex, you know.... You poor, poor lost sheep...

one day you will accept god as your saviour and when you do you will feel great guilt at what you have said, however god is forgiving and will forgive you, i only hope that you will realize the insult you have done to god who by the way was beaten whipped, had his beard ripped out and nailed on the cross, just so that people who do what you have just done ,which is mocking god can be forgiven i will pray for you and in future try not to bring god down to your level. by the way god cannot come down to your level

getting on your knees can be a sign of humility before the Great Creator. A first stage leading to your repenting and accepting ...
You need to repent and accept Jesus as GOD!.-- look unto Me and be ye saved, all ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none other.

no actually it isn't you probably think that, because you never done it before, and you think you look dumb amI right? What you are really doing is you're humbling yourself to your creator, and letting him know that you are being obediant to him. Now to get to heaven is another story. To get to heaven you need to follow his teachings, and obey him. Know that he is your savior, and you can't do anything without him.
