My daughter just had her son. She is 17 and a Junior in high school. At first she felt she let us down. I wasn't exactly happy she was to be a Mom but we accepted it. She was scared at first until her friends and our family showed we cared enough to care and support her. She went to school until a week before he was born. Too close in timing!!! She has a Tudor that comes here for an hour a day so she can keep up her studies. All her work goes back to her teachers. As for the father of my grandson he is still in school to and doing a wonderful job being a Dad. I love to watch him with the baby. My grandson may be only 10 days old but his Daddy can get him to smile and no one else is able. The one thing my daughter and her boyfriend do realize is they have to finish getting an education to give their son a good family, home and the best life possible. I am SO proud of them both.

I was a freshmen in college when I got pregnant with my first child. I was in denial for a long time because it wasn't supposed to happen this way but I got over it when I heard my daughter's heartbeat for the first time.

It shocked my mother the most because she didn't know that I had a boyfriend at school. My sisters knew although nobody told me that they knew.

The father of my child accepted his responsibility and we're raising our daughter together and we're actually expecting our second daughter in May.
