ok, im 18 years old and i am thinking about joining the marines after high school so i can get money for college and become phyicaly more capable. also they said i can have a shot at going to flight school after college. can anyone tell me anything about this or them that they fail to tell me?

Well if you want to become a pilot you should join the Air Force Academy instead!! or even join the Navy. You know they say the Navy are the best best best pilots !
The marines is much the harder way son.

I am not sure about the proper path you should be taking. However I do know that recruiters at every level in the military are outright lying to young men and women in their desperate attempts to meet quotas. Teens have been told that there is no possibility of them going to Iraq despite that fact Iraq is the reason they are being recruited for. So I am just saying make sure you find out independent of pentagon sources(over 3,500 weekly publications.)
More and more they are distorting the facts. Good Luck!

go talk to recruiters from all different branches to find out which one suits you best, and who has the best program for becoming a pilot.

If you're a UK citizen, then you should join the airforce, and become a pilot. They offer many schemes. good luck.

you really want to get your AA
before you enlist
then you are a officer candidate and eligible for flight school
assuming you meet all the physical requirements
