one nighters are fun (sometimes) but completely unfufilling. It gets boring sleeping with people that you know don't give a damn about more than your sweet spots. In a relationship He's doing all the things he needs to do to please me sexually and emotionally. Nothing more satisfying than getting off with someone you love.

In between. Just have a friend and maybe every so often he is your lover. Invite him to go places with you (black tie affairs, weddings, etc). Dont call him everyday, but enjoy him when you do speak. Go over to his place sometimes with wine and dessert just to unwind after work. Have many "one-nighters" like this. That way, you dont have to worry about many men and you dont have to be tied down. For the time being, your friend can be whatever you imagine him to be. He can be your husband during sex, your mystery lover a black tie affair, your best friend at the baseball game, whatever you imagine, it can be him. You're never disappointed in a relationship and you never have to call again, similar to a one-nighter.

one nighters are for sados. relationships are great when they work out. not had that pleasure to have a decent one yet though.
