Fly IN a tornado? No way. The tornado would take the aircraft apart. Fly NEAR a tornado? Not smart, and I believe the FAA requires commerical airliners to keep a distance of at least 10 miles from any storm cell that might spawn a tornado. Fly OVER a tornado? It's possible to fly right over a tornado without a problem if the aircraft is far enough above the storm cell and is moving fast enough, but again, it's not advisable.
