I think you might. I am the same way (yes I have OCD) I absolutely can not stand even numbers it is funny to hear someone else say that.
Do you have showering routine or dressing routines, these are also signs or symptoms of OCD.
Here is a topic overview from WebMD, please remember that this article is really talking about severe OCD, not people with acute or moderate OCD. Most people living with OCD are not as extreme as the article suggests. It just gives you a little insight.
http://www.webmd.com/hw/anxiety_panic_disorders/ty3382.asp
I have found (doctor's advise) some of the best ways to control your OCD is to pass that messy book shelf (although you might think about it for hours after) or force yourself to eat those four cookies. I try dressing in a different way every once in a while but I do not feel comfortable until I do it in "the way".
There are treatment options for OCD, but it is for the more severe cases. If you do have bad anxiety and bad thoughts drug therapy can help but with OCD does not always completely cure this feelings. I actually had worse and more persistent anxiety attacks while on drug therapy, so I no longer choose to take it.
It is always good to talk to your doctor and let them know about these items that you are experiencing they might be able to help you or find help for you, to ease the effects.

We all have little quirks that other people who don't have them think as OCD. Personally I check the washing machine to make sure it's closed (because I've left it open before and then it doesn't get past the wetting the clothes part). I seriously check it sometimes 6-7 times in one load because I keep thinking I didn't check it already. But I don't have OCD. Similarly my fiance has to have the money in his wallet a certain way or it annoys him. All facing forward and arranging in increasing amount if you were wondering. He's not OCD either. Unless your quirks interfere with your quality of life then you are fine. Even if it is OCD it's terribly mild and really no reason to pay for therapy.

OCD is a good possibility. The thing is with OCD...you cannot rest untill all your little quirks are met. Ex: you cannot do anything untill the book are straight, or the house is clean and it will litteraly just make you extreamly anxiouse untill it is taken care of. Alot of the time, it will interfere with you life, people getting annoyed with it, or not being able to do other things because you are so caught up in your obsissions and cumpulsions. I had a slight case that got a little bette after I started taking zoloft. But in the begining, it made me lazy (which I hated) but that passed.

Perhaps you're a little OCD. My husband makes fun of me all the time for having OCD's about everything. I couldn't stand when he'd put the wrong color bottle caps and nipple rings on the wrong bottles!! It drove me crazy. I also have to organize my littleboys Little People Playsets and put all of the animals and all the little people that go with each set so I can keep track of them. I hate when he pulss the mini-blinds up and they aren't straight, like when the left side hangs slightly lower than the right side. My husband even sings a little jingle for me,"OCD, OCD, its alright Jen, just let it be..." He's even got my son singing it to me.
I have a friend who can't put her lighter down on the counter with the label facing up...she freaks out!!!
You may be a smidge OCD...or maybe just a neat-freak. Nothing wrong with that. Would he rather you were a pig and lived in filth??

relax, relax, relax. feels like OCD. I too have suffered from all of it my existence. drugs is obtainable which will truly help you. that's one among those stress which you think of will stress you nuts. there's a e book you're able to desire to examine called "The Boy Who could no longer provide up Washing." that's going to furnish lots if perception into what reasons this and furnish you with desire that that's taken care of. hit upon a psychologist or psychological wellbeing medical institution the place you will get clinical care and information. i made a style that i did no longer care what human beings viewed me, I in simple terms knew I had to get help. Boy, am I happy I did! Now i will overtly communicate approximately it without concern of judgment. do no longer spend the the remainder of your existence in misery. that's an ailment. you're able to look for clinical help for many cancers, precise?? do no longer wait yet another day!!

If it really bothers you and you can't walk away without doing these things, you have OCD. It's very mild though from what you've said.
I'm the same way with having to have things straight and in certain order. Trust me, compared to some cases, you have a very mild form and most people do have it to some degree. It has a lot to do with our serotonin levels.
Myself, I hate touching things on the floor. It's too much to explain in detail here, but like I said, don't fret, yours is mild.

If so, it's not a bad case of it!! My husband alphabetizes the meat in the freezer and locks and relocks the front and back door of the house at night a minimum of 3 times each!! In a VERY specific sequence, or he can't sleep at all and gets up and does it all again. Now, HE is borderline OCD.
But, if your "quirky" needs don't interfere with the happy functioning of your life, I wouldn't worry about it!

i noticed that people with ocd say that it will bother them if something isn't right to them and that nagging feeling won't go away unless whatever it is, is taken care of. if thats you, then maybe you are. look up the symptoms online.
