There are many ways that this could be going for this guy. 1: He could be scared and trying to not have anything to do with a baby, and even though you turned out not to be pregnant it still bothers him. 2: He is trying to find a way to better approach you for acting like such a jerk, but doesn't know how to go about doing so. And perhaps realizes that a VM just isn't very proper nor respectable. 3: He simply just doesn't want to have anything to do with you anymore, perhaps due to a new woman, in which case you deserve better and should move on.

I am sorry but don't be stupid. Great question because you provided the background. This lump of crap knew that you might be pregnant with his kid and doesn't make a solid attempt to get in touch with you, but then does call you when he hears you are not knocked up - and even then is to lazy or stupid to leave a proper message - what you should do is change your number and be more careful when having sex.

He probably is involved seriously with someone else by now, thought of you as a fun 'you-busy' with no strings attached and now you've scared him by possibly getting pregnant. The way he pulled a disappearing act says he would not be a reliable father/lover and not leaving a message when calling says he's scared you'll try to snag him again by getting pregnant, so he isn't sure he should risk talking to you anymore.

Yes call him! He obviously wanted to talk! But as for not leaving a msg... I don't leave msgs when I call my boyfriend of 3years... so maybe he didn't feel like it, or wasn't sure what to say and just hung up. But deff call him back!

It could mean a lot of things. The best thing to do is not listen to the answers that people state as absolutes on here, as neither they nor I know what his reasoning is. Life is an uncertain thing, and people are unpredictable. So the real question is, do you really want to find out why he called?

He was seeing if you were home for a booty call. Drop this guy like a bad habit!!!
Why would you want someone who doesn't want you at all!
Would you want to go on a date with a guy who called you a good for nothing skank? Well that is what he is telling you with his actions.
Tell him some with your own actions - don't pick up or ever talk to thim again!

some human beings have their telephones set so as that caller identification won't exhibit their style. Telemarketers oftentimes try this to avert return calls. you may oftentimes set your place telephone to no longer settle for calls from inner maximum callers and each so often you may set it so as that it activates the caller to allow the caller identification suggestion to bypass via previously you settle for the call.

He's running game on you. Let him simmer. Occupy yourself so you don't feel inclined to call. We as women, always want to know why. But, why ask why? Let it be. Men love women that give them space or at best the "illusion" of space.
Remember.....its not a race, but a marathon. Think about the long term ramifications; not immediate gratification!

He wasn't sure what to say, or just doesn't like voicemail.
I never leave a message, not even on my friends answering machines

That he doesn't know what to say about the whole situation. You can try calling him so you can tell him well ear to ear. That's all you can do since you two are no longer together.
