in order to that ,i would hope that you know about real estate in the US ,
do you own real estate in the US ? or are you just thinking of investing and trying to make a living at and hopefully make profit ?
it all depends on your knowledge in real estate ?
do realize that real estate, is very competitive in the US and unless you have very good relations within this area ? doubt of much success or profits

I believe so. I'm in Canada and Canadians can freely invest in almost any sector in the american market, except a few ie., military, government etc. Foreign direct investments there are a lot less regulated than UK & Canada.
