Ok this is weird to me, My dog has this toy that was lost for a couple months and we found it on Saturday. Well ever since then she has been shaking real bad and crying. She will not go or do anything with out this toy. Is she sick or what else can be wrong? She also is not eating and not very active anymore.

you know how some children have security blankets and certain toys or stuffed animals they cant go anywhere without well this is what I think it is but for your dog, obviously there is something about the toy that makes your dog feel secure and when he/she doesnt have it then he gets upset because that one toy makes him feel secure in his surroundings more than likely he will get over it but for now just let him have the toy in time I am sure this phase will pass

I would take her to the vet. The toy could have been exposed to some chemical, or poison. You didn't say were you found the toy. Your dog could be very sick.

Take her to the vet, anything could be happening. Stray dog could have gotten into a toxin, rat poison, or have a virus like Parvo. It could have eaten a bone and now it is stuck and painful causing a blockage. The dog needs to be evaluated. Then treated for worms, and give vaccinations.

I don't believe the re-appearance of the toy has anything to do with your dog's behavior change as you've described it here. Your vet is the best source of info for you now - get there today.

First of all, is your dog spayed?? I am assuming it is a female because it sounds like she is being a mother to her toy, something my dog had done before I had her fixed. But to be safe you should check with your vet.

You didn't mention a vet. When a pets behavior changes it is a BIG CLUE that something has gone wrong and the pet needs a vet.
