Yesterday when I was calling my sister, I dialed the wrong number and this guy answer the phone. At first I though it was her boyfriend, but when he said his name I knew I was wrong. When I hung up the phone he called back and tried to hav a conversation with me.
He seems really nice and he sounds really cute and I would really like to get to know him.
How do I spark up a conversation and tell him this without looking desperate or something?

This is kind of irregular, but if you really want to get to know him. Take your time, I repeat, take your time.
When you guys do meet, make sure it is in a public place such as a mall. You might even want to have someone observe from a distance or let someone know where you are and if your not back by a certain time.....
Personally my first meeting would be through web-cam. It is more safe since you can record it.

Just be your self. Here is a piece of advise if he tells you he wants to meet you in person take precautions. First meet him in a public place like the mall or some where their is a lot of people.
Then tell him to wear a certain type of shirt or coat or something like a red sweater so you can tell who he is when you get there ask him for his discription. Then if you think he is ugly don't walk up to him. But if you think his cute take it from there.
The reason why I say this is because you never know whos who and you have to be careful now in days. Some people are just psychoes.

I wouldn't do it. You don't know who this guy is! He could be some sort of total freak! For your safety, you should not meet strangers in this way.
If you insist - which you probably will - then call him back and just talk to him. Yes, you will probably look desperate, but if he is receptive then meet him in a PUBLIC place. Take a friend. DO NOT tell him where you live. For God's sake be careful!

he sounds creepy and desperate - why would he call u back if he had a wrong number.
given that he has resorted to calling strangers on the phone for a relationship, i'd assume he's not as attractive as you are picturing.

First of I wouldn't want to get to know someone through the phone without knowing who they are. Sounds negative but lets be realistic hun this guy can be soemone bad.
BUT if you do want to get to know him just ask him survery type questions like the one's on myspace =)

If he "seems really nice" and he "sounds really cute," then that means he's really a fat, old, bald dude who lucked out and had some naive young girl call him by accident.
