My husband is a Retired Marine and I served in the Air Force, so I will say Air Force, but here's why.
The Marines and Army are "mostly" geared toward soldiers/combat related jobs. There are other jobs, so let me be sure I qualify that..... However, I believe the Air Force and then the Navy have the best opportunities for learning skills that will serve you well when you transition back into the civilian world.
We Always needs Soldiers and Marines, so if that is your hearts desire, then the Marines should be your first choice....I offer you a quote from Ronald Reagan.... Some people go through life wondering if they made a difference in the world, Marines don't have that problem

As it was once explained to me:
The Marines sleep in a fox hole while getting shot at.
The Army sleeps on the ground behind the Marines.
The Navy sleeps in little beds at sea.
The Air Force sleeps on water beds back at base every night.
The Coast Guard - well, who cares about puddle pirates...
Honestly, it depends on what you want to do. Be advised that if you want to be an Officer, the Air Force is the best way to go, but if you are not a fighter pilot, then your promotion chances are slim.
The Navy and Air Force have some excellent technology jobs, and if you choose the correct one, you can get a great paying job for a defense contractor as soon as you muster out.
The Army and Marines have good jobs as well, but are geared directly towards ground fighting.

I'm biased, but I'd have to say Air Force. My husband is Air Force and I'm leaving in January for basic. Don't just think the navy is boats the air force is planes and the marines are guns, they all have planes and guns and a wide array of different jobs. It all depends on what ya like. Talk to recruiters from every branch, you never know. Look at education money, too, see which one is right for you. ew, didn't mean to make that rhyme. sorry.

the navy has the best food, but the airforce gets to sleep in a bed every night. Marines are really just the foot soldiers of the army (operation human shield if you will). Army workers generally operate equipment, be it artillary guns or water purifiers.
Depends what you want. Safety and security is the navy or airforce, no one we fight today has the strength or capability to mess with our big toys.
If you want to fight, get some glory or trigger time, you'll need to be on the ground out front, the marines.
Even still the war doesn't really have an enemy ( in the traditional sense) so there really isn't anything to shoot.

Stick with the Navy, noone is sinking any ships at the moment. Tha Army or Marines will have you on a checkpoint in Iraq soon after you enlist, not a place I would want to be....

The Navy of course. Join the Navy see the world. You might as well do some travelling while you serve.

Play to your strengths when choosing your service and your MOS in that service. If you want to work with planes try the AF Ships or boats try the navy, Go in to the recruiting office with an idea as to where you want to go and odds are they can direct you to the right place but remember to pay attention to what you sign.
