I have never heard of that one...My family always has the traditional dinner.
Turkey and Ham, Stuffing, Potatoes, Carrots, Peas and 2 or 3 other vegetables, and nice fresh baked dinner rolls ... with 2 or 3 different pies for desserts !!!
MMMMMMMMM
Have a good day :)

Never heard of rice and stew on Christmas. To each their own. Whatever you and family enjoy would be best. We like Beef. Many people have Ham or Turkey.

Personally, I like Duck for Christmas- less fatty than goose and different than turkey. I like veggies that are different too- like asparagus and butternut squash instead of green bean casserole and mashed potatoes. I don't know about rice and stew- to me they are more common things and Christmas day should be kind of special.

Prime Rib...New Christmas tradition we started a few years ago. We cook a whole roast, bake sweet potatoes or regular potatoes, with a nice salad and creme brulee for dessert. It's easy and your not in the kitchen all day. Happy Holidays

TURKRY! and all the trimmings. It's not just for Thanksgiving! However, my mom always makes us roast, which is pretty darn good, and rice would be a delicious side dish to serve with a yummy pot roast. :)
