So yeah, I'm 15 years old and I've had it for about 4 days; I've been stuck home all week. I used the same medicine as always when I had it before and it doesn't seem to be working. I'm tossing and turning at night when my saliva increases and I have to swallow it which hurts really bad. I woke up 15 minutes ago to look myself in the mirror and see that my tongue is coated in blood. What should I do? Is this still strep?

Strep throat is a bacterial or virus infection,a throat culture is needed to identify strep. It responds quite well to appropriate antibiotics.
Garlic is one of the best natural antibiotics and antiseptics, taking garlic oil capsules (15grains) six times a day,if it causes any adverse reaction try another remedy.
Warp your throat.
Take a warm chamomile poultice, apply directly to the throat, relives discomfort. To make the poultice, add 1 tablespoon of dried chamomile flowers to 1 or 2 cups of boiling water,Allow it to steep for 5 minutes before straining.Soak a clean cloth or towel in this tea, wring out the excess, and apply to the affected area.Leave it on until the cloth is cold.Repeat if necessary with more warm liquid.
Remember if this is not treated ,it can lead to more serious problems.

Strep is a living virus that has the ability to build up immunity to certain drugs so what ever you took last time may not be effective this time. You need to get to a doctor right away. Blood is a really bad sign.

Hon, you really need to see a doctor. In fact, with a condition that severe and considering your age, I would take you to the ER if you were a child of mine.

You need to go to the doctors to get antibiotics. What you used before could have expired and if you dont have a proper dosage, it wouldnt work anyway.
