it has not changed. They still hide their corruption.

I think that is something that is spread that was in "Mormon Doctrine"...which eventhough the title expresses "doctrine" it isn't actualy doctrine...sounds silly I know, but it is just one apostles views OF the doctrine...hopefully that makes some sense.
Anyways, we do not believe anyone is inferior, we believe we are all God's children and entitled to every right, privelage and blessing as the next person.
Also, those who sided with Satan have never lived on the earth, they were cast out with him and never had the blessing of gaining a body.
There was a time when blacks could not hold the Priesthood. Why? I have no idea, nor do I ponder about it. That's the way the Lord wanted it then and has changed it now back in the 80's I think....I do not quesiton why the Lord gives a commandment, I only try to follow it.

I have NEVER thought black people were inferior. People are people. Everyone who has ever been born on this earth had to choose to follow Jesus Christ and the Plan of salvation. Yes, even the die-hard atheists on this site were once intelligent (as intelligent as they are now) devout Christians who have forgotten what they used to know. It may be that the reason the Priesthood was withheld for a time until God's timing was right was as simple as waiting for a sufficient number of leaders in more than one country to be ready for the Priesthood all at the same time, to promote communication and support. I believe you are referring to what a few leaders said once about the War in Heaven, that there was a difference in the degree of valiance, but you can find people of varying valiance and commitment to God's commandments in all countries and peoples. Now I also know someone named Luckner Huggins who wrote an entire book about that subject, and he is black and from Haiti. You can check out www.sonofham.com to learn more.

Like other LDS said,
LDS do not believe the Blacks are inferior.
Those who sided with Satan never got to born to the Earth.
My point, if any one think LDS is being discriminating against Blacks, they should look back on the Bible and know that for a time in those days, only the chosen people of Isreal hold the priesthood, non believers were consider gentiles and unclean. This shows that God do what he does for a reason, and by his timetable.

Elohim (plural of ALH) is Father, Word & Holy Spirit. Elohim created the heavens and the earth. Jesus is the Word part of Elohim. Lucifer was a winged Cherobim. Lucifer isn't a bright star anymore, he is a terror.
So? It doesn't matter what is written in Mormon Theology about darker skinned people. God created us all different because Elohim loves diversity, uniqueness.
Others think Nick is right, but this is written about in Mormon Theology. Because darker skinned people were inferior to Joseph Smith & Brigham Young. But they were people that were more rebellious to God in their pre earthly spirituality. So they were born of darker skin. I don't believe in the Mormon Cult beliefs though. Cults are additions made to add to Gods Word; taking the Salvation (Eternal life) message as the Grace of God and not by works should anyone boast; to add works to be necessary for eternal life.

Lived in Utah all my life. I remember when the Lord came down to the Mormon leaders and said it was okay for them to hold the priesthood. Wow I was about 7 and found that to be ridiculous!! Why would they want to be any part of that church. I guess it had to do more with that question you posed and not so much segregation. Cool to know. thanx

what are you talking about? We don't believe that, In fact I never in my life heard of such a thing and I've been a member my entire life. If you want answers go to lds.org or talk to the local lds missionaries in your area. Don't worry, I'm not trying to convert you, I'm just helping you to understand what we believe. I don't appreciate people talking about things that they don't fully understand. nik is right by the way
