My husband and I generally get a nice amount back. We both have the max amount take out of our check and we have a child so we get the child credit.

I plan it so I will either owe a little bit of money at the end of the year or get a small refund. I don't want the IRS to have my money any longer than they need to have it.
Last year my refund was about $65. This year I expect to owe about $40 or less. I might even get a small refund if I have enought medical bills to have a medical deduction this year.
