Ok, you are just down the road from me (I'm in WV), so I hope this might help you. Contact your local DHHR office and tell them the situation and see what they can help you with. Also, the United Way offers couceling and drug rehab programs here in WV, and maybe they offer them in your area too. Call them and see what they might be able to help you with. They base everything on your income and charge you accordingly, so no income more than likely means free help. I wish you the best of luck, and your son as well.

You have to contact your county's department of social services. They will get them into rehab if they qualify (sounds like they do) but you are right....you have to show proof that you are "indigent" so they can put them in rehab at no cost.
Remember this......there are 3 kinds of people waiting for beds in rehab.
1) those who are paying out of pocket get first dibs
2) those with health insurance get second dibs
3) no money or insurance get last dibs
It's unfortunate.....but a fact.

Ok, so I'm guessing what you want is for taxpayers to foot the bill for your kid's drug problem. Count me out. Send him to boot camp.
