I'm in UK, don't know Barq ?
Are u sure it has to say caffeine on ingredients? I don't think I've seen it on Coke or Pepsi?
I am very allergic to caffeine!
PS> Sainsbury's own root-beer is awful. It used to be OK but they changed it..

Incidentally, I found some A & W rootbeer in Bentalls department store, & it says on the can NO CAFFEINE!

I like root beer. It's generally caffeine-free. Just look on the box or bottle. It should be written on there. And caffeine has to be added to sodas, so if you look on the ingredients list, it will be there.
Barq's, I think, puts caffeine in their root beer. They are the only ones i nkow that do that.

i don't like root beer but yes it does say "contain caffeine" on both pepsi and coke, by law. however it's not in the list of ingredients as they don't put caffeine in as a single ingredient its on a different part of the can/bottle.

I love root beer and it doesnt contain caffeine, that is why a lot of parents dont mind giving it to their children too!

I love Rootbeer. Some rootbeers contain caffiene but many do not A&W (the best) does not contain caffiene but Barq's does.

Check the labels, not all root beer has caffeine.
I love ice cold root beer with a scoop (or 2) of vanilla ice cream. Float - yummmm

Coke and pepsi do have caffeine in it...
Root Beer definitely have caffeine in it...

It does contain caffeine, I didn't used to think so, but I checked the label. My son loves it.

Yeah I like root beer and not all root beer has caffeine in it. Barques does not!
