We are designed to be omnivores, meaning that we eat both vegetables and meat. Of course, we eat way to much meat these days. People are led to believe that we need a meat course with every meal. This is not true. One 5-oz portion of meat a day is plenty.

The human body is designed to be omnivorous...i.e..... eats everything. We cna digest plant and animal foods. now people who go strictly vegetarian will have a hard time getting the protein they need for there body. And often times will take protein suppliments. However you can train your body to be vegetarian. the only problem to this is if you change your mind later and want to eat meat again it takes a while for your body to adjust back. ;) You get a bit sick.

Non-Vegetarian. Humans are animals who can consume both plant and animal products. Most biologists agree humans are omnivorous.

Vegetarian, long intestines, blunt teeth. A lot of protein stresses our systems.

The 'we have canine teeth' excuse to eat meat is laughable. Compare our 'canines' to a cat's, for example. Cat's have meat eating canines and we don't.

we are omnivores. scientist believe that because our species ate meat, the extra protein made our brains expand, thereby furthering our ability to learn, comprehend and rationalize. however, since meat could be difficult, even dangerous, to collect, vegetables were a nice filler.
