I married a man who was 11 years younger than me and it was a disaster, he was immature, irresponsible and stressful. At first the sex was good but after a few months it got old and then came the arguements and name calling and police and jail. It was terrible, so if you not just in it cause the sex is good "now", think about your future and the future of your child..

It depends on your ages and maturity. If she is 30 and you are 20, it might be too big of a gap. But if you're 30 and she is 40, it could work out. Bringing children into the relationship definitely complicates things and you should move very slowly and keep the kids' best interests in mind.

my husband is 10 years older than me and I have kids from a prior marriage...........and it is wonderful, he is absolutely wonderful to me and my children. I think that age is not an issue as long as both parties are mature enough to begin with. Say a girl or guy is 19 and the other is 29, there is a difference than a woman that is 39 and the man is 49. so as long both parties are mature enough, there should not be anything wrong with it.

If you love her and if this is what you really want, no one can stop you. I'm 19 with a 29 year old man and NO ONE will stop me. Don't let the age gap get to you.

i will admit a relationship where both of you have children is MOST DIFFICULT and for me, I would not try it again.
Been there---done that and very negatively effected my children
so much so --- that I had to call it quits

Me myself, i'd rather date someone my age. Definitely no one younger than me, but they can be at least 2,3,or 4 years older than me.
