i think guys are more open to dating single moms..... women want their own children and not someone else's.. its a maternal thing

Well as a single dad myself I can tell you that most women do not have a problem dating a man that has a child. They actually see you as being resonsible and more mature.
Men on the other hand will find it harder to date a woman who has a child seeing them as wanting to have a "baby daddy".

I think it goes both ways...I would date a man with kids especially if he has custody or is paying child support...It shows he cares and is taking care of his responsibilites...
