Yes. They would take a longer time to starve to death however because their fat must be wasted away before it reaches the muscle.
If you are already thin, you will starve to death sooner than a fat person/.

I am going to assume you mean starve to death. Obviously anyone can starve; it has nothing to do with weight.

Obese persons would tolerated starvation longer than a thin person, but off course they could starve to death if it went on long enough. Depending on how obese they were, they could die before the lost enough weight to be considered thin. The reason for this is starvation causes an obligate loss of visceral (organ) proteins. Loose enough visceral protein, and your organs start shutting down leading to death.
