Talk to your mom. Calmly. No hysterics! Ask her why she doesn't want you to talk to him.

How old are you? Whether you know it or not now, your mom knows a lot and her most important job is protecting you. She may know or feel something about your boyfriend and wants to keep you from getting hurt or in trouble.

How long have you been seeing this guy? Is he a good student? Is he respectful to your parents? Does he treat to well? If you asked him to, would he speak with your parents to put them at ease? If he wouldn't, he's not a keeper anyway.

Consider your mom's point of view. She knows more than you think.

How old are you? If you are out of the house you can do as you please, but if you are still at home it is her house and her rules which you must respect. Why doesn't she like him? If he is a good guy and treats you well then I would think she wouldn't have a problem. Ultimately you do what makes you happy without causing to much harm to those involved.

Your mother has something called "wisdom"..what you will have once you get to her age. Believe me...if she felt the need to say it its probably for the better. She loves you I am sure, so she wouldn't want to take something good from you.

He may be bad news. I know it may seem like you won't, but you'll probably love several men throughout your life time.

Get over it for now.
