I feel like Im obsessing over my ex, I have posted my story through questions on here, numerous times, and it seems like most people in my situation would be so angry and not want to be with their ex anymore. Cause he broke up with me real bad. Yes, I realize Im better off without him, and I will find someone better, etc etc......

But why is it that I cant get over him? Its been 2 months, and hes given me a million reasons to hate him. Yet, I still want to hang on to hope, and I probably still would go back to him, which is a stuoid thing to do. But I love him so much, even after all that hes put me through.

Is it just me, or do other people feel the same way too? A person cheats on you, leaves u for someone else, puts ur family thru crap, etc etc..........yet you still want them? Am I just insecure or stupid?

Most people feel this way because they are very insecure with themselves and think they may NOT find someone else or even better for that matter. So they try to hold on what they currently got because of fear of being alone and not finding anyone else.

They call this "settling" and thats something you DO NOT want to do. Do not just settle just to have someone. You should have someone thats going to care for you just as much as you care for them. So DO NOT settle.

So its been 2 months uh. Sounds like you were in love. Time heals all pain including the pain love can sometimes bring. So this is what you need to do to get over your ex.

1. First stay out of contact with your ex. They are now old news and you need to lose all contact with them. So get ride of anything that may temp you to contact your ex. phone numbers, email address, what ever. And do NOT take any calls from your ex.

2. Stay busy. You have to keep yourself busy to keep your mind off of your ex. And idle mind likes to wonder. So if you stay busy you will not think about it so much. Then in time you will think about your ex less and less and then bammm!! you will be over him.

3. Start dating others. I mean lets be honest. Im not saying go out and get into another serious relationship but go out with other people and have some fun. That will also take your mind off things.

I have been where your at and trust me i know it seems very hard but trust that you will get past this and you will move on. And as an added note..You WILL have better. Its just going to take some time and patience is the key.

hope this helps

there's a attachment and i sure their are strong feeling involved. start going out with friends or family. Many women have a hard time letting go. But you have to think is a life of insecurity, no trust, and deceit really a life you would want to live. If you loved once you can love again. and if it did not work once it wouldn't last the second time because trust was broken.

You shouldn't put yourself down. Women tend to always put themselves down when guys cheat. they get back with an unworthy man. It shouldn't be that way. We shouldn't put ourselves down due to a selfish guy who cares about their own pleasures. we should not get back with men that can't be trusted. 95 percent of men that cheat once will cheat again regardless of what you do.
we should take that relationship and make ourselves stronger and wiser. not put ourselves in bad situations. I know it's easier said than done. but be patient... the right guy will come your way....the best things in life are worth waiting for.

I'm there..but my ex was good to me. Two months ago we broke up cause he doesn't think he is good enough for me..and now he wants the few moment a week that he gets to hang out with his friends to drink. When I tell people what happened they tell me to get over it cause he had a past with weed and some say he could have cheated(whatever). I know he just needs time on his own to figure things out, but he is generally a good guy. I know how you feel..and it sucks. If he wasn't good to you I think you should try your hardest to move on. You hold on to the good stuff, but the bad isn't worth the few happy moments. good luck

Yes, no not really. Give it six months to a year. In the mean time throw yourself into your job or hobby. Lay off the relationships for a bit.

You seem to have self-esteem issues, that you don't deserve better. You should focus on yourself - yes, you WILL love again, and this time they will treat you right! Treat yourself to a day of pampering, go for a walk, clear your head. Boost your self-esteem first, and the rest will follow.

Good luck!

it sounds like you havent tried moving on. you also may feel like youre partially responsible for his infidelity.. waht you need to do is get yourself out there and try to start dating other guys. That will help get your mind off the jerk who cheated on you.. After a while, you'll realize that you are far better off without him

that's normal. its called love...love makes you blind. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS NOT A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP...you can do so much better! i swear if he hurt you so much he doesn't care about you. i know it hurts really bad right know but trust me it will get better. go out with you re girl friends. why would you want to go tru all that pain again? don't you love yourself!? you have to learn to love yourself first in order to love someone!!!
