Yes, in a way, it does.
Hot water causes your hair cuticles to open up and experience damage from the hot water or any of the chemicals that are in your shampoos. Also, it makes it weaker when you brush it out because the hair folical is open and isn't smooth and protected being shut (because of the hot water). Think of it this way: when you go get your hair cut/washed, they use salon grade shampoo and conditioner and luke warm water for a reason.
Also, more hair can come out after a shower because of stress, damage (breaking off, so it looks like you're losing it), loss of hair because of shedding (your body natually loses hair somtimes A LOT at a time just because it's shedding.) Or, if you've changed your shower times to more infrequently, you'll lose more hair after each.

No hot water doesnt cause it to fall out. But you do need to remember that when washing your hair u can use whatever temperature but when rinsing your hair use luke warm water to wash out the pores on your scalp. This will also help your hair to grow. If you use extremely hot water to rinse your hair out your pores will not open up. Causing your pores not to be washed clean and there will be a slower process of hair follicles to grow. I shed some hair during winter months. We all do. Are you male or female??? If you are male and a certain age then it may be just age. If you are female you may be just shedding or stressed. It is NORMAL to lose hair. Especially during the winter.

No, hot water doesn't cause hair to fall out... do you notice this hair loss only in the shower? I lose hair when I'm in the shower too, but it's not hair loss, people loose thousands of hair folicles per day, mine come out mostly in the shower...

I use hot water to wash my hair. I don't think it makes it fall out. You should use cold water to rinse it cause it seals the cuticle. Also, I think rinsing with cold water gets all the shampoo out.

No, warm water does no longer make your hair fall out swifter or in additional beneficial volume. rigidity will surely help further that alongside. Heredity will to boot. You get the gene for baldness out of your mom.
