I've heard that the closer the tat is to bone (like around the ankle, rib cage, top of the foot, etc.) the more it will hurt. I only have one on my back and it is on a "meaty" spot so it didn't hurt when I got it.

so a strategies i have purely gotten each area of my ribs to my hips finished and my wrists. My ribs/hips for sure were through a strategies the worst, with my very last consultation being the longest and absolutely maximum painful. I made it 5 hours and is basically not that stupid back! no longer purely is the soreness terrible, yet once you flow for a lengthy time period i think like it takes longer to heal (possibly my mind's eye). i replaced into advised through my artist that if i ought to get through the ribs, something else i want to get finished will be cake from the following.

Where there isn't a lot of skin, fat, or muscle. LIke the top of the foot. My boyfriend has a tattoo on his back and part of it is over his spine and he said that he could actually FEEL the needle touch his bone and that was the painful thing in the world.

Rib cage pretty bad, i know from exp, and i ve seen and heard that elbow spine neck inside of your bicep and, but i know rib cage hurts but its worth it, kinda fun though, but i think rib cage hurts the most you can feel the needle bounce off the bone and theres alot of bones, comin fro a person with whole side tattooed, but if pain bothers you maybe theres a sedation tattooing parlor

Anywhere close to bone and large amounts of nerves or anywhere the skin is thin is going to hurt. The foot, hands, wrist, throat, ears, hip bones, ribs, near nipples, genital area, ect.
In my opinion the knee and calf area was the worst for me. Ankle and butt hurt the least...but ALL tattoos hurt, even if its a little

Just bellow you neck on your collar bone ain´t so nice. Neither is round your nipple.
But it´s like this ALL tattoos hurt. Don´t believe anyone who tells you anything different.
I have heaps and I love them all but I advise you to choose carefully. A good tattoo rocks. A bad tattoo is expensive to remove.

I have a big Spider Web on my elbow and that hurt really bad, after three hours I was at my pain threshold but the most painful place is on the ribs.

I have 11 tattooes and the most painful one was the one I have on my lower back.

The one where everyone gets the barbwire around the top of the arm its the undersidedown below your arm pit that is painful
