That's probably why he doesn't answer - bit like me with telemarketers. Never make the mistake of showing interest, they'll never leave you alone ever again.

No you see Donna i have a theory. If there is a God then he surely won't talk to nutters right.
So maybe he started Christianity in order to know where they all are, keeps them together and lets him know who not to talk to.
Sort of like if you're calling and you're a Christian then its going straight to answerphone!!

Actually part of a Christians life is also listening as well. It's a two way relationship with God and it's not all one sided as you say. It only becomes one sided when believers stop hearing from God.
God never gets sick of his children because he loves them. Just as a human father who loves his children. Those that don't well then they aren't a very good comparison.
God does answer and he has heard my prayers. I have seen results of them when I prayed for a woman in my building that I used to live in when her common law husband came over to beat the crap out of her. A few of us had prayed for her and he answered our prayers.
You don't have to agree with with us and that's your choice because no one can force you to believe what you don't want to believe. Even God can't force you to believe what you don't want to believe.
I think this is God's calling card.

I saw God in a bar the other day, he bought me a beer. He likes to be know as "Betty", he said he lost interest in humanity around the time of the Great Egyptian empire, but he still checks out the Yankees results. Nice enough bloke didn't have a nice things to say about Christians though, he thought they were "werid and kind of creepy and needed to get laid more often".

Yes WE do.
Personally, I think Christians believe they are being paid on commission for each convert they make. Maybe they think they will win a better seat at the dinner table with Jesus if they turn their entire lives into one nauseating bible study lesson?
Won't they be surprised when they die and everybody, even the "lost souls", are all at the same place? Man, will they be pissed.

Well, the God I serve DOES answer me. He may not give me the answer I want to hear, but that's who He is----Honest & absolutely trustworthy. Does He ever get sick of me? Well, most parents do tend to get a little annoyed with their children from time to time, but I do KNOW this: HE LOVES ME!!! Infinitely, Deeply, Absolutely, Adoringly & Unconditionally. Amen! (And it is HIS greatest joy & pleasure to be my Lord & Savior & to assist me in EVERY WAY possible)....I feel sorry for the "poor blokes" who "choose" to go it alone & on their own in this crazy world.

i experience that I have the information to understand even as a political candidate is being trustworthy or maybe as he/she is pandering for votes. As a Christian--and a voter--i'm a lot more advantageous attracted to someone who "walks the walk" somewhat than someone who "talks the talk."

No, He doesn't. He is our Heavenly Father, Jesus, died for us. I think if He does get sick of people it is probably those that keep bashing His kids.He is long on patience and is giving all man a chance to believe in Him. Do your parents get sick of you?
