This is a no-brainer. How can the US grant UK visitor visas? Two separate countries, not to mention the applicant is also not from the US.

Yes most definitely. You can apply for a UK Visitor Visa in USA if you are an Indian citizen with permanent residentship there. I believe the websites that I have mentioned in the source will provide you all the information. Lots of luck, cheers!!

ONLY if you are living in the US as a permanent resident or with a green card. If you are just a VISITOR, and has applied to the UK consulate, then NO.

You can apply from the U.S. But, the Visa has to come from the country you're visiting.
