My ex-girlfriend literally created an assault out of the blue and filed an order of protection against me to get me out of our rented house to make room for her married boyfriend coming in for spring training. He works for the White sox. I was on the lease but she modified it and gave the judge the forged copy. He upheld the order. There was no assault, no arrest, no police report even though they came out to investigate. She said she felt threatened because I own a gun. Do I have any recourse? Thanks for the feedback.

Hire an attorney!

The attorney can do things such as:
1) Supoena the owner of the house for a copy of the original lease.
2) File motions and re-hearings.

Also, if you can find out the phone # of her married boyfriend's wife, give her a call and let her know what's going on. She might have some info you can use. (Hell hath no fury as a scorned woman)

Good luck!
