Shrimp= camarón
chili = chile

Shrimp is camarones (plural form) or camaròn (singualr form). It also depends which country. Other words are quisquilla or esquila. Where I lived, they did not make Chili so when in doubt, just describe the ingredients. Offer hamburger/bean dish- un plato de carne molida con frijoles. Most of the time you can learn a language faster if you just start describing the words with the vocabulary that you know and then they will provide you with the correct name.

Shrimp is GAMBA, camarón, langostino, cigala, depending on the size. The normal shrimps in spain are called GAMBAS

Chili can be AJÍ , Guindilla or simply chili
