Isn't it funny how ALL things are possible through christ...but when you ask for something impossible it's quickly dismissed with "don't test me!"

All thins "can" happin in and through Christ Jesus, it doesn't mean they "will". It has to be according to God's will. That way a christian can't go "I want icecream....hmmmm LORD, hey up there,....I beleive I want and Icecream, I believe ..I belieeeeeeeeeve". Even Jesus Christ told satan when he was tempted in the wilderness. "thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God". He is not a cosmic blessing depenser. If it is God's will that you fly, then that is possible through Christ. If it is God's will that you turn purple and grow horns, it would happen through Christ. Understand?

Hey,
You are not alone!

Perhaps someday you will. I have in my dreams. Skimming above the trees, it was so real. But Phillip was 'raptured' away, so why can't I?

That question goes back to the basics of Christianity.

I told God that I would give up flying in eternity if it would mean that He would save a friend of mine. I don't even know if we will, but there it is. / :

For now, we have the constant hope that He will deliver us in the first place. I am so in love with God that my heart weighs heavy with the thought of being impatient with Him.

If you're a Christian you can fly. The Bible says so. "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

Here is a great question.

Why?

Well you would have to answer a few other questions first:

Do you believe in God?
Do you have faith?
Does the Holy Spirit dwell inside you?
Have you ever tried?
Have you prayed?
Are you Christlike?
Do you repent for your sins?
Have you accepted Jesus in your heart?
Do you talk to God?
Do you confess his name?
Why do you want to for your glory or to show his?

I won't go on and on however I will tell you with all the answers you will get, I probably be the only one that will tell you you would be able to . . . . if all in your life was where it should be and you believed.

If God wanted mankind to fly on his own, He'd give em' wings. So for now, you'd have to depend on riding in a 747.

Have you tried?

Are you saying that Jesus could not let you fly on your own?

I mean he raised people from the Dead, made blind people see, fed 5000 with a few loaves and fish.

Why would you flying be impossible?

Peace!

Try an airplane that always helps the rest of us to fly on our own.

Oh you can! But you can't start off from the ground. You need to get up to a high-rise building--say about ten floors, then jump. Do it. Do it now.
