no don't dump him stay by his side and convince him to get his G.E.D. Lots of schools offer alternatives to get your diploma for kids that drop out of school. I don't think you should dump him.

Well, look at it this way. If this boy does not want to continue his absolutely vital education, then I don't need a crystal ball to see into the future. These days, you are seriously reducing your prospects for a good high-income job without the best possible education. The competition out there is hot, and only those who have put in the work and the effort will get the rewards. Would you want to marry, have children with, and grow old with a guy who is so short on education and skills, that you spend your lives scrimping and scraping for every piddling thing? If he can't be bothered to make THIS effort to build for his future, how many other things is he not going to be bothered to do on down the road?
My advice to you is to get somebody who cares about his future, and has that "stickwithitness". Some day into the future, you'll remember what I have written here. Let it be that you remember with a smile, because you listened, and not with a groan because you didn't

High school is worth it..if only financially. A recent study showed that people with a high school education earned a lot more money per year (on average) than those who did not. Threatening to dump him might be a good way to motivate him.

YES! you should dump him. Education is everything these days. My boyfriend only got his associates but he is now making 70 grand with a union. If you can't even get through high school this has to say something about your motivation in life. you can do better

relies upon on what you advise with the aid of "well worth it". in case you advise getting married, it is going to take divine intervention to make that artwork. in case you advise purely exploring your thoughts as a teenager devoid of extensive expectancies, it relatively is surely a relaxing thank you to spend some time. in spite of everything, i would not plan out no remember if or no longer you ought to grow to have an interest in somebody -- if it occurs, enable it, and notice the way it impacts your examine. so a ways as your occupation objectives go, I think of which you will no longer have a troublesome time entering into college for psychology; it is not an fairly aggressive field. in terms of time dedication, i will declare from very own journey which you will gain extreme college and have a courting; i've got been a serial dater considering then and am having no difficulty in any respect in larger coaching.

High School is such a temporary situation in your life, it's a shame to throw away your future dropping out of school. He can always complete it and get a GED if he wants to.

And yeah, I'd dump him. He's not someone you should want to associate with, someone who quits when things get tough, that's proof of a weak character.

good choice to dump him. dropping out of high school is the dumbest thing these days to do. he is going to have a hard time finding a job with no high school diploma. you can do better than that for yourself, so its a good idea to just let him go if he drops out!

HIGHSCHOOL IS SO IMPORTANT.
I don't know about the whole dumping thing... that's your decision. But, he won't be very smart or successful without highschool. Plus, that shows that he's lazy and not determined.

I, personally, don't like to picture the guy of my dreams in those circumstances.

Yes, you should definitely dump him, because you'll be doing nothing but supporting him financially.

He's going to be a loser until he smartens up, gets his GED and hopefully some college. You don't want to be with someone like that.
