Where, in CT, can I have someone paint a portrait of me?

It is kind of an inside joke between my boyfriend & I, so I want to have an artist paint a portrait of me so I can give it as a gift! I have NO clue where to go for this though.. :-\

the next answer makes me sound so greedy !!! i am a pro painter but have no car and no new clothes for years !! How is one expected to live ???

I'm not from CT, but i can paint you for free. money is not the matter regarding art but the privilegde of being artist to be critized and i love to paint then critize it. want to try me.
