Just in case ur problem isn't resolved yet, pls. try this. (But be very careful). Go to your 'windows' directory/folder ( dbl clk my comp.; open drive 'c' and the windws fldr shld be there), open it (u might recve a warning here but keep going ), look for "mspaint.exe" ( it's all in alphabetical order). If/when located, right click it and create a shortcut which you could place anywhere u like.( U also have a "shortcut to dsktop" choice when u point 'send to'.). Good luck ( & fingers crossed :P

Depending on the version of OS you are running. If you are running window than it may be possible it is already installed.
1. click start. than go to Run( or press "Window Key" and "R" on your keyboard)
2. type "mspaint" and press enter key
If mspaint come up than it is already installed.
If it does not.
3. click "start", than click "control panel"
4. click "add or remove programs"
5. click "add/remove window components:
6. click " accessories and utilities"
7. click "accessories"
8. put the check mark by "paint" by click on the box (if the box have the check mark than it is already installed on your system)
9. click OK or accept on all the menu and than it should work.
The above should work for most window format. at least in window xp
