Yes, however, people who drink though straws alot tend to develop lines above their upper lip over time.

No I don't think it will prevent your teeth from staining bc once you sip the coffee thru the straw it gets into your mouth anyways and there is now way to prevent it from touching your teeth (well unless you just pour it straight down your throat, which seems painful!) Also, if you are drinking hot coffee, the straw will melt if its left in the cup and ruin your whole drink.

some people swore by it that it does. but over time you will get a film on the top of your mouth. but why drink coffee or drink or eat anything from a straw an not enjoy it. if you are afraid of staining your teeth brush them after you drank a cup of coffee
