Either take a friend with you, or meet in a public place where there are a lot of other people around, you can trust your instincts better in person after meeting a person in a public place whether you want to be in a more private place.

Well you just go... maybe you are not really in love with the person as I doubt u can love someone u met online.
Just be careful and take someone along..... preferably a male that youtrust and do not drive in his//her car or go anywhere alone until you know the person adequately.

You meet them in public, just because you can never be too sure. Trust your instincts.....when you talk online, it's purely personality since you really do not know what the other looks like in person......so I'm sure you know a lot about them, so you can keep up a good conversation based on what they told you.

Well, I fell in love online (we've been together for a 15 months!!!), and all I did was buy a plane ticket and meet him!! Went out to see him twice, then moved 900 miles to live with him!! Good luck!
I'd advise not to suprise them, make sure they know and are excited that you are coming...

I met my perfect husband on yahoo personals. we just met at a local coffee shop and we got married six months later. I couldn't be happier. just go meet him. have fun, and be safe. good luck. You can find love anywhere

Make sure you meet him/her in a public place for your first couple dates just to be safe. I would recommend this with any first blind date. Good Luck :)
