i want to ask this girl out that i know form school. we are really good friends and i know that she loves ice skating. should i ask her ice skating?

Maybe, sounds like a good idea. Is a romantic idea especailly skating around holding hands (girls love that). BUT can you ice skate? Because it could be potentially embarressing if you fell over!!! However another plus is that its somethng she likes, and if shes worth bothering about then she'll appreciate the fact you went to the effort to pick something she enjoys! Have a good time fella :)

Ice skating is a good first date. Do you know how? If she really likes it, in order for you not to embarrass yourself, I would scope the place out first and maybe skate for a couple of hours yourself so you don't fall too much. Good luck!

yes it is a good idea you say she loves ice skating but do you and can you the last thing you want to do is make a tit of yourself a friend of mine took a female out on a first date ice skating and she ended up with a broken arm! first and last date good luck x

Oh Yes ! A really good date. You will have plenty of chance to put your arm around her and hold her hand ( to assist her skating) and you will be able to impress her with your skating skills. I think that is a really thoughtful date, especially as it is a public place, some girls do not like to go to secluded places on a first date.

To be honest with you that's not a bad idea but a quick question do you like ice skating too or are you just going to take or out to watch her enjoy her self . As for me you can take her to a movie of her choice or if you want to choose , choos ea romantic one most of us girls would like to know that we could share some sort of emotional expression with.

Yes.... But I would hope for more then just ice skating.... Maybe also go to the movies , then skate, the go for hot chocolate...?

Just make sure she likes to skate. To me it is but I'm a hopeless romantic. Tried to get my fiance' to go with me this past weekend in downtown S.F. but she declined. Said it was boring.... "sniffles". I've always thought of skating during Christmas time romantic. The couple hand and hand in their own little world.
