To effectively lose weight you need to do three things.
1. Stay active. Currently doctors recommend 10 minutes of activity 3 times a day. No that does not have to be running jogging or very strenuous ecercise. Depending on where you live you could shovel snow, walk, mow lawn, work in the garden, etc.
2. Diet. I know you have heard it time and time again, but its true. You don't have to stop eating, you just need to watch what you eat. Instead of eating the Doritos that are sitting on the counter, grab an apple or some kind of fruit. Salads are also good. They are rich in fiber and will aid in the digestion process. The darker green the lettuce the better it is nutritionaly. Do not overload the sald with dressing. You can also use light dressings, whatever you preffer.
3. Drink water. Water is a very efficient way to lose weight. before you eat a meal drink a glass of water. this will fill your stomach up a little bit and then you will eat less. Eat until your full, not until all of the food is gone off of your plate. When you get hungary for a snack, or another meal, drink water until your stomach is full. This is good for all of your cells. It also flushes out your system removing excess fats and wastes. You do your body a favor and you feel full.
Follows these three things and you are sure to start losing weight.
