Very good! You are one of the few that ever realized that! Continue searching - there is a lot of materials out there that spell that out directly, and even give more information.
If you can actually read it - try the Uruntea Book - heavy duty reading, but it explains everything in great detail.

I love talking religion, but this type of question always makes me hesitate. When we are talking religion, one can never be sure that their answer is correct, only from their heart of hearts. Saying that, I am only giving you my opinion, you do need to constantly search in your quest for the truth, and only stop when you feel in your heart of hearts that you are on the right path. That being said, my answer can only be a couple things to consider. In the book of Genesis God said " they have become like us " That makes me think that maybe there is more than one "God" . If this is the case, why is it said he the one true god ? Many people have many different answers. Jesus said "I am not of this world" , Elijah saw chariots of fire in the sky, and Revelations talks about a new jerusalem coming down out of heaven. Could spaceships not be called chariots of fire 2000 years ago by someone that has never seen one before ? Could a new Jerusalem coming down from Heaven not have been a spaceship? In closing, all I can really say, is read , read, read. You must eventually decide for yourself. Good luck my friend.

The One and Only True God has a Son called Jesus Christ and that is how the True God is identified. In saying that, God calls all people from all religions and faiths to follow him.

Let's follow this logically:
1) God presented Himself to the world through Jesus;
2) Jesus told the early Church, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except by me;
3) Jesus' statement was true;
4) No one can go to Heaven without believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
So no, it's not true that God revealed Himself in different ways to different people, is it? If it was, then Jesus was a liar.
Peace.

All paths lead the the same god. there are many interpretations of the higher power, expressed differently in different cultures, times, and places.
Just like every language has a different word for "dog", they are all talking about the same thing.

Why would a fantasy God do anything like that? I think it is silly.

No, it is NOT POSSIBLE, Because GOD CANNOT LIE!
(Isaiah 44:6) Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Thanks, RR

Yes, I can definetely believe that. God manifests Himself (Herself? Itself?) in many ways. As long as you do good and avoid evil, and love your neighbor, it shouldn't matter what your belief is.
