most new plasma tv have a game mode setting like samsung they know you are going to play games on them most people don't know what they are talking about on plasma they heard dome old war stories about burn in they don't realize that big screen tvs for the last 20 years could result in burn in if they left up an image for awhile this is nothing new in tv land you can play games on they just don't leave they game on paused

LCDs, because they don't suffer burn-in from keeping a static image on the screen like plasmas do...

I have a DLP rear projector.
There is no difference in game play between any one of the HDTV sets.

lcd is better, plasma sucks, big time
