what is the literal translation for "ore wa omaega ski da" (from japanese to english)?

as far as i know, ore wa omaega ski da means something about "i like you" or "i love you"

is this phrase written correctly? if not, what is the correct way to write it? is there a better or more recommended way to say "i like you" or "i love you" in japanese?

Well let me translate it for you.
Oreha[ha - is actually pronounced as wa] means = I
Omaega = you
sukida [not ski cos "su" is pronounce fast, so u actually can't hear it, like a silent word] = like/love

so it's actually "oreha omaega sukida"

but if you want to say i like you to a girl i recommend you don't use "ore/omae" becouse these are quite rude. A polite way would be "watashiha[i] anataga[you] sukida[like/love]"

and for other phrase;

anataha dai suki = i like/love you the most
aishiteru = i love you

omae - you (informal)
suki - fondness, liking

EDIT: My dictionary says "suki da" is right, so I changed that
