big screen nothing fancy like plasma but its nice and just yesterday out of nowhere the colors messed up they look like doubled and the screan is sunk in on top and on bottom i wanna fix it but i don't want to pay too much.I have had it for 4 yrs only and it messed up already its a toshiba i thought they were supposed to be good..if anyone knows how much it cost to fix it or how i could do it myself if its possible i would appriciate it.thanks

ok, its the converence. it looks like there is a double or tripple image in different colors, and its bowed (curved)...

When its sunken in, the IC chips are bad. They need to be replaced and then converged. My husband fixed tvs in Nashville, and for that size tv, he charges $250. But thats REALLY cheap for around here, he is self-employed. Best buy, hhg, someplace like that around here would charge $400+.

Different areas might be diffent. Call around to some smaller busnesses that are liscenced.

It sounds like your tube is shot. Same thing happened to me. It's cheaper to just buy a new TV. Sorry.

take it to a best buy, dont pay more than 200
