No reputable piercer should numb the area and its really not needed. I promise you the pain is decently tolerable and over with quickly. Pain is part of piercings and if you don't think you can handle it, don't get the piercing. Take Mortin or Midol before and after to help with some pain, but based on the fact your other piercings wont hurt, this shouldn't be any worse.
Skip the numbing creams...if you've had labor for 25 hours, this will be a breeze.
Just keep the area clean and be gentle with your piercing for a while and you'll be fine. Go to a reputable piercer and listen to what they tell you. If at any time you encounter a problem, call them or visit them.

I think all these rude people need to grow up, you asked the question if abesol would numb it, so answer that people!
Anyways I have about everything pierced you can have done, the ambesol will only numb up the areas in your mouth. It seems like you have a very high tolerance in pain, a lot of people will brag about how much it hurts, but it all depends on the person! From my experiace it wasnt that bad getting it done, but it was soar for about two days! take an asprin and that will help!
I love having my belly botton done I think its the best piercing to get, its so cute!

I had it done with nothing. Ambesol only works on certain types of tissue and that skin is not one of them. It is relatively fast and painless. The pain wont come until later when your body reacts and it swells a little but its really just an ache not "pain". I never had any pain with mine except when I caught it on a belt buckle when standing up. That hurt.
Just keep it clean and wash it with antibacterial soap every day for the first few weeks. You'll be fine.

If you can go 25 hrs of labor with no pain meds, then you surely can handle a naval piercing without ambesol. I don't think the ambesol will do much good though, to answer your question.

I even have 3 navel piercings and a nipple one, the nipple one is extra painful then the navel for particular. the factor with those piercings is they might have therapeutic issues, like rejection. those are the places the place there is the main inflammation on the physique; once you place on clothing, bras, sleep... So once you get pierced, you will possibly need to ask to have bio-rings it relatively is implant graded so your physique accepts it extra suitable. The nipple hurts extra because of fact there is extra blood circulate and extra nerve endings, yet the two between the piercings are well worth it.

If you were able to have a baby without any medication you will be fine. I was very scared when I got mine done about 8 years ago but it was nothing. I actually took a friend to get hers many years ago and she was scared out of her mind and is the biggest wimp when it comes to pain. The piercer pierced her and she looked up at me and said "That's it?It's over?". She barely felt it. It only stings for a minute but a qualified piercer should be able to get it done in a minute. Afterwards it is sore but never painful. Good luck!

im not sure if it would work or not....its worth a try! I just went with my best friend the other day to get hers done and i got to watch the whole thing! first they took a marker and put the spots on her where the needle would go in and come out....then they took a disinfectant wipe and cleaned it and put some type of petrolleum jelly on it and the needle both...then she layed down and they stuck the needle through! her eyes watered so bad and her face melted red lol but i think u can take the pain if u went through the labor and watnot...good luck!!***

of course its going to hurt. I got mine done when i was fairly young but it just hurts for a minute. Also take in consideration that this piercing is one of the piercings that take the longest to heal so make sure that you are always cleaning it. But other than that just do it honey and it will be fine. You sound like a strong woman anyways!

believe me baby it dont hurt bad eneough to numb it. It hurts for 2 seconds when the needle goes through but I had it done 2 times. Before my son and after. The only thing you have to worry about is keeoing it clean after and it takes about a month for it to full heal. It does boost confidence in women I find. Good luck. You can do it.

I got mine done when I was about 17, and it hurt, but was bearable...another story was the healing process. Took a long time, got infected on and off. I finally discovered that bathing in epsom salts, available at any pharmacy cleared up the infection.
And, btw, people who just responded with negative comments "like omg, that was so 4 years ago", etc...she DIDN'T ask if it was "in", she was asking about pain involved. Take your useless jerk comments and find some heavy traffic to play in.
