The only way to forget an old love is by finding a new one.
Go out there, join dating sites, take evening classes in a community college, volunteer in your community. basically expend your horizons as to meet as many diverse people as you can. It may take time. but all wounds heal eventually. She is not the one for you and a broken heart mends. We've all been through it.
Cheer up, someone out there will give you the love and appreciate you for the wonderful person you are!

I know it is hard. I am kind of in the same situation, but I am starting to learn how to let go. I realize that I deserve better and you should do the same. She may eventually want you back, but in the meantime, keep yourself busy. Surround yourself with family and friends and maybe spend time engulfing yourself in hobbies. Do not sit and be sad about it. The more that you are sad, the more that she will walk away. Just ignore her for a while and maybe she will come around.

Time, time, time! Not for you to hold on, but I have found that, while you just go about your life, normally, you will find out. Sometimes you can even re-meet someone 10 years from now. It happens alot. Otherwise, as the others have stated, move on! There are so many others in so many places that it does not pay to feel down or be hooked on one, especially if she does not seem interested.

Get yourself a nice looking sheep, admitedly ewe will have to do your own washing up but think of the advantage of not having a nagging smelly girl around you
