That's darling! I don't know how old your son is and children's logic is sometimes right on and sometimes just extremely amusing.

I think my son was five when he said, "Mommy, I know why you shouldn't drink and drive". I was surprised and asked him "Why?" His reply was, "You might 'pill it."

A small amount of cheese will not hurt your cat. If the cat likes to share cheese with your son it's perfectly OK.

Thats sweet.

A small amount of cheese wont hurt the cat. You can give it to it as a treat.

Mice actually do not like cheese, don't tell your son that. Studies found that mice are more proned to eat other foods such as peanut butter over the cheese. Interesting.

Some people will tell you that you shouldn't feed your cat anything but cat food. However, cats will eat it if you leave it out, and you're not looking. My cat loves butter, so I have to watch him very carefully. However, you can give cheese to cats, as long as you don't substitute a meal with cheese. Give it to them as a treat. Cheese has a lot of protein in it... good for the meows! :)

I wouldn't see that a small amount would hurt anything --but like many of others cheese can bind a system ( constipation) so I wouldn't allow too much to be fed at any given time--I think your son has a great sense of humor good kid--Mice are full of it !! I loved that !! Thank you for the sweet share

Even though they are notoriously shown drinking a saucer of milk, most adult cats are lactose intolerant. Be careful with the amount of cheese your son feeds the cat. It can be very harmful.

Chesse contains dairy. Cheese isnt the best thing for your cat and shouldnt give it to your cat, but if you do, your cat is not going to get sick and/or die. Your cat will be fine. Cheese now and then is like a reward/treat for your cat.

I don't think cheese is bad for cats. Cats drink milk right? Cheese is made from milk....Thanks for sharing.

kitties are lactose intolerant--a little bit of cheese for pill taking is ok, but they cannot tolerate milk products--they get diarrhea, whic, over time dehydrates them and can be fatal if not addressed.

i would go easy on the cheese, watch kitty for any adverse signs.
a little is ok, but too much--determined by thi kitty--is not good.

his response is wonderful!
