Any time a religion deviates from the fundamental message of God, they will (by egoism) fall into the radicalism reverse chicken trap.

Even if a religion starts out as trying to understand and please God, it will eventually change its priorities to build, grow, and maintain its Empire. This is not just my opinion. It is the history of every religion on Earth.

And, just what is the fundamental message of God?

Harmony is harmony.

Disharmony is the only sin against God.

This message may sound simplistic, but it "flies in the face" of empire building. Why? How?

Attending church is not required to apply God's fundamental message.

Called "throwing the baby out with the bathwater" syndrome.

Not neccessarily. Radicalism implies strong dogma. Some religions just simply don't have those kinds of implications - such as Buddhism.

Yes, every religion has its extremeists. They give everyone else in that religion a bad name. It's one thing to be passionate, something else to be an extremeist.
