Ex girlfriend said she wanted to be friends but whenever she calls she doesn't sound like she wants to have a proper conversation. We just broke up and she has a new bf, and there was once she returned my missed call but did not really talked to me, just informed me that her bf is at her place and there were making out sounds on the background, every interval of a minute she said she could not hear me and finally hung up. What is happening? What is the purpose and the intentions? After that there was even no phone call back to explain. Obviously, it cannot be a friendship that she wanted.

Why are you bothering with this relationship? You were romantically involved so why should you be friends now?
Get out of this situation. Devote your time into cultivating a new girlfriend. If the ex calls and you don't want to talk to her, get caller ID.
Forget about it! It's time to move on.

When you broke up she said she wanted to be friends, but that is not what she meant. No you are not stupid you just looked at it in one way and she in another and the wrong is on her part not yours. People should not say what they mean and I were you I would say fine and leave her the hell alone.
