I have produced my own album and need to make a cover. Any ideas what I can use to design a cover? Any free software available? I cant find the option in office or excel?

Search Snapfiles.com and Download.com, they both give safe downloads with no spyware.
And try Open Office, theres a desktop publishing program in the office suite.
Theres also Easy CD Creator, but I don't have a link so be careful if you search for it.

Microsoft publisher would be the best possible software to make CD covers or posters. i have used it many times to make sample CD covers before.

i suggest you use macromedia fireworks. this is a highly powerful program used for designing pictures. this program is available for a free thirty day trial from www.adobe.com
