The one answer is correct, the terms are the difference between the UK and the US, just like Castor sugar and most Americans call Ketchup just that but in the UK it is generally termed called "sauce".

If you refering to making things for Mexican food, Masa is the American term were in the UK, it is more well known as Tortilla Flour, and can be purchased at Tesco and ASNA in the Imported Food sections.

They are the same thing. It is called Corn Starch in the US and Corn Flour in the UK.

I would think there would be. Corn starch is a thickener, and flour is the base for breads and cakes.
