If it 'worked' it would be a coincidence only. The benefits of a placebo, if any, are derived from the belief that the substance will have some measureable effect. To know that it has no effect is to 'not believe'. No belief = no effect.

i doubt it. that defeats the whole purpose of the placebo. my college did a study on placebo with fake beer at a keg party. i knew it was fake and a couple other people as well. everyone was trashed but us. it worked so well a couple people actually lost their lunch. my best friend missed class because he said he was so hung over...lol he felt like an idiot when i told him
